
Ralph B. Wheeler, M.D. is a Board Certified Pain Management Physician and is board certified and fellowship trained in Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology. Dr. Wheeler is a graduate of SUNY at Stony Brook and the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, New Jersey, his residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and his Fellowship training at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York.
Dr. Wheeler specializes in minimally invasive pain management for the treatment of persistent, painful spinal conditions including disc herniation, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, failed back surgery syndrome and failed neck surgery syndrome. He has further honed his skills in endoscopic spine procedures under the mentorship of Dr. Bryan J. Massoud at Spine Centers of America.
Dr. Wheeler is a member of numerous professional medical organizations including the International Spine Intervention Society, the Society of Interventional Radiology, the American College of Radiology and the Radiology Society of North America. He has conducted surgical and medical research and has co-authored multiple published case studies on topics related to radiology, pathology and surgical procedures.
